Gordon S JacksonGordon S. Jackson is a South African-born author and educator. He obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Cape Town and an honours degree at Rhodes University, in Grahamstown, South Africa, before completing his MA in Communicationsat Wheaton College, IL. He then worked as a reporter and editor on a newsmagazine in Johannesburg for three years, before completing his doctorate in Mass Communication at Indiana University in 1983. He then taught journalism at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA for thirty-two years before retiring in 2015.He has authored or compiled twenty-three books, most of them since his retirement. They include three previous satirical novels. He also writes a monthly blog about words.When he is not reading or writing he enjoys watching British comedy and taking photographs of unusual signs.
