Ginger MynattOver the years, Ginger Mynatt has lived in six different states and traveled much of the U. S. She taught English and Creative Writing in both public schools and The Bridges Academy, a school for children with learning differences. Her early childhoo was set in the mountains of Pennsylvania where indoor plumbing and television made slow in-roads. After retirement, Mynatt wrote for Texoma Living! Magazine for four years. During that time, she won fifteen awards from Press Women of Texas and three from the National Federation of Press Women. Her love of nature and the environment led her to become a Texas Master Gardener and a Texas Master Naturalist. Mynatt now lives in El Paso, Tx with her husband where she enjoys hiking the mountain trails and spending time with her children and granddaughters who live there and in Washington State.
