Gilbert YoungGilbert Young was born, raised and educated in Cincinnati, Ohio. He spent thirty-seven years serving as Director and Conservator of the University of Cincinnati's multimillion dollar fine art collection. He moved to Atlanta in 1995 and was named Artit Director for the international Paint Pals Art Competition associated with the 1996 Olympics. He lectures at colleges and universities. He was presented the Heritage Award and received the Pellet Award. Gilbert's art is in art galleries throughout the United States. He and his wife Winfred have three boys. Other works: Gilbert painted a portrait of President Obama with the President's signature, portrait of Michelle Obama, painting of maestro Erick Kunzel and Symphony Orchestra.
