When health problems brought their RVing days to an end, she and her husband moved into an over-55 community, thus triggering the unmistakable realization that she was now an elderly woman with a time-limited future. In this newest release, Gerri chronicles her struggle to acquiesce to the inevitability of growing old, doing so with sharp humor, poignant insights, and caring compassion.Before writing, Gerri enjoyed a forty-year career as a social worker, working with children and families in a variety of settings.
