Gerlind Wisskirchen

After working for two US law firms, Gerlind Wisskirchen is a partner and specialist lawyer in employment and labour law at CMS Hasche Sigle.

Her focus is on international corporations. Gerlind advises multinational companies on all areas oflabour and employment law, in particular on issues of restructuring and reorganization, outsourcing, collective bargaining, and works council aspects, privatizations, transactions and personnel adjustment measures.

Gerlind is the winner of the International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Award 2010 for Labor & Employment, Germany and Winner of the Global Who's Who Labour & Employment Lawyer Award 2012. She regularly holds seminars both for employment and HR specialists, and at national and international conferences. She has published numerous articles in German and English.

Her professional memberships include being vice-chair of Cross-Border HR (XBHR); senior vice-chair of the employment and industrial relations law committee of the International Bar Association; co-chair of the international committee, ERR, of the American Bar Association; member of the American Employment Law Council and of the Labour Lawyers' Advisory Committee of CUE, Council of the Union Free Environment. Advisory board member and lecturer at Cranfield University, UK, for the MBA programme in International Human Resources Management.
