George W Starks

George Starks returned to France many times with his wife and sons, retracing his trek and locating nearly everyone who helped him in his escape. All the crew members are now deceased: as George himself says at ninety-four years old, "I'm te last man standing." A retired dentist, Dr. Starks has long been actively involved with the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force in Savannah, Georgia. He lives in Orlando, Florida.
