George Douglas LeeGeorge Douglas Lee entered a second grade art contest and never looked back. During his college years, Lee discovered rock n' roll, became a lead singer, toured the country and somehow finished his BFA in commercial art and graphic design. He worked n acrylic, oil, mixed media and sculpture. In addition to his adventures in art, he was a performing song writer, published and produced playwright, scriptwriter, actor, public speaker radio host, history tour guide and avid gardener. He was featured on-camera commentator for the History Channel and the Smithsonian Channel "America's Deadliest Disaster", a documentary about the Galveston 1900 Storm. He wrote and illustrated four children's books, based on his musicals, which led to his induction into the Texas Playwright Hall of Fame.
