Gavin FernandesGavin Fernandes is a tutor of hermeneutics and Old Testament at London School of Theology (University of Middlesex, UK). He is also a research fellow of the Department of Old Testament and Hebrew Scriptures, Univer- sity of Pretoria (South Africa), ad involved with The Philip Project, a bib- lical studies training course in Cambridge, UK. He attained his PhD with the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, University of Notting- ham. His thesis was entitled The Narrative in the Song of Songs which exam- ines techniques in the Song of Songs that contribute to a plot alongside its lyrical poetry. He has taught modules in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament for Bible institutions in India, Kenya and Cambridge and formerly served as a church minister in London and Cambridgeshire, England.
