Gary WilcoxIn the 1960s Gary was editor of Offbeat, one of the first teen music publications in America. In the 1970s he was editor of Photographer, one of the top three photography magazines in the world. The subscription list included both the White House andthe Kremlin. The United Nations worked with Gary on a special issue of Photographer. After a career as an award-winning designer, Gary has retired from commercial work to pursue personal projects such as Jiveand its companion website, The Online Roots of Rock a resource website featuring a 350-year timeline that traces the development of popular music in America.
