Gary McGregorGary McGregor is a native of the city of Hattiesburg in south Mississippi and resides there. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio with a B. S. in interior design, and practiced that profession in four southern states until retirement.He has four grown children, all living in Mississippi. He and his European born wife traveled to many countries of the world during their marriage enjoying the different cultures, history, and beauty of those countries. Unfortunately his wife died in 2013. He is a poet and writer. His poems and articles have been published in journals and magazines. He has published his wife's memoir about her childhood and teen years growing up in war torn Europe, and has two previously published books of poetry. Counting Raindrops is his third book of poems. We are saddened to inform the reader that Gary passed away during the printing of this book. While heart-broken, his family is excited to complete the process of bringing his final collection to print and so proud of their father's many accomplishments and a life well and fully lived.
