Based in North Carolina, Gary Carter's short fiction and poetry have appeared in such outlets as Nashville Review, Sky Island Journal, Deep South Magazine, Steel Toe Review, Dead Mule, Santa Barbara LiteraryJournal, Main Street Rag and Delta Poetry Review. He's also the author of a novel, Eliot's Tale, and a collection of short fiction entitled Kicking Dante's Ass.
