He did his pharmaceutical education, both B.Pharm and M. Pharm. from Dr. H.S. Gaur Vishwavidyalay Sagar, MP and Ph.D. (2000) from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. Recently Dr. Gupta and his team achieved the India Book of Record - Teaching Marathon Relay 101 hours. Dr. Gupta was nominated fourth-time Chairman, Board of Studies (Pharmacy), IKGPTU, Jalandhar. He has contributed more than two decades of dedicated service to Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Prof. Gupta is a prolific writer of Professional books and authored 26 books, published research papers 150 Publications in various reputed peer-reviewed journals, encompassing 42 Review Articles Besides he has been instrumental in getting 5 design Patents and 06 filed patents. He received grants from DST, DBT, DST-SERB, and AICTE under various projects. He has guided 19 doctoral and 105 postgraduate research projects students.
