G a MorrisGus Morris was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia where he played multiple youth sports. After graduating from Millsaps college, he was inducted into their Hall of Fame as a football player. Following his days as a player, Gus used football officiatng for recreation and to fill his desire for physical activity. He retired from officiating in 2021 after an incredible 31 year career in the Southeastern Conference that includes 5 SEC Championships, 16 postseason bowl games and 7 Senior Bowls.
