Fred C RobinsonFred C. Robinson is the Douglas Tracy Smith Professor Emeritus of English at Yale University. He is the author of nine books and over a hundred articles dealing with various periods of English language and literature. He is a fellow of the American Aademy of Arts and Sciences and a corresponding fellow of the British Academy. He received the Haskins Medal from the Medieval Academy of America.
