Frank Moore Cross

Frank Moore Cross was Hancock Professor Emeritus of Hebrew and Other Oriental Languages at Harvard University.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of the great biblical scholars of our time, Frank Moore Cross. Dr. Cross was te Hancock Professor of Hebrew and Other Oriental Languages Emeritus at Harvard Universityand was a co-founder of the Hermeneia Commentary Series, in which he edited the volumes Amos and Daniel and co-edited Ezekiel 1 and Ezekiel 2. His groundbreaking achievements in the field as a scholar and teacher will be felt for generations to come.
