Francesca BregoliFrancesca Bregoli received her PhD in History at the University of Pennsylvania, with a dissertation entitled 'Mediterranean Enlightenment: Jewish Acculturation in Livorno, 1737–1790' (2007). She received a Laurea in Oriental Languages from the Univesity of Venice, Italy (1998) and a Masters in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America (2001). Her research interests include early modern cultural history, Jewish-Christian relations, and the history of the book.
