Fouad AjamiFouad Ajami is the Majid Khadduri Professor of Middle Eastern Studies at Johns Hopkins University. A MacArthur Fellowship recipient, he is the author of several books on Middle Eastern politics and culture, including The Arab Predicament and The Vanihed Iman, and he serves as a contributing editor for The New Republic and U.S. News and World Report as well as on the editorial board of Foreign Affairs.
