Fay SudweeksFay Sudweeks is Emerita Associate Professor at Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Sociology), Master of Cognitive Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Communication Studies). Her current research interests ae social and cultural aspects of communication, group dynamics and e-learning. Fay has been nominated for the Vice Chancellor’s Excellence in Teaching Award and has been nominated twice for the Excellence in Research Supervision Award . She has published 7 authored or edited books, 17 edited proceedings, and more than 80 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings. She is on the editorial board of 6 international journals: Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Human Communication Research, New Media and Society, International Journal of e-Learning, Open Communication Journal , and International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector . With Charles Ess, Fay has co-chaired eight international and interdisciplinary conferences on Cultural Attitudes towards Technology and Communication (CATaC).
