A secialist in foreign-language pedagogy, Professor Samaniego has been a frequent presenter at foreign-language conferences across the country. He coauthored four college texts and the AATSP PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HANDBOOK SERIES FOR TEACHERS K-16, VOLUME 1: SPANISH FOR NATIVE SPEAKERS. He is also coeditor of LANGUAGE AND CULTURE IN LEARNING: TEACHING SPANISH TO NATIVE SPEAKERS OF SPANISH.
