Evonne DevivoEvonne DeVivo has always wanted to write children's books. She wrote short stories as far back as elementary school. In high school and college, she worked with children and became a third-grade teacher after graduating. After getting her master's inreading, she became a reading teacher in Queens, New York. For nine years, Evonne was a stay-at-home mom to her two boys until she went back to work teaching pre-K, an age group that gives her so much joy. She has been writing stories for this age group, thinking about what makes her students laugh and the type of stories they enjoy.
