Eva Rutland

Eva Rutland is the author of a memoir, "When We Were Colored, a Mother's Story" and a mainstream novel "No Crystal Stair" a fictionalized account of her real life. She also wrote over twenty novels for Harlequin, which featured clever plots, snapp dialogue and happy endings -  much like her own life.  Since her passing, Eva Rutland's daughter Ginger Rutland and her daughter Eva Schwartz work to preserve her legacy.
