Eric Gautier

Eric Gautier is descended from a long line of Nantes and Lorient shipowners and was born and raised on the south coast of Brittany. He has been a lifelong recreational sailor and amateur student of French maritime history. He servd in the French army alpine regiment for more than thirty years, retiring with the rank of colonel. A talented artist, he has also produced illustrated monographs on the traditional fishing boats of Brittany.
