Eric BettsEric Betts has earned his second Ph.D. (2022) with a concentration of black political theology from the University of South Africa in Pretoria. His dissertation forms the basis of this volume. His other theological degrees were earned at Louisiana Batist University (MTS, Ph.D.) He is a lecturer for the Center for Religion, Leadership, and Culture at Athens State University in Athens AL, and is the pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Corinth MS.
