Eram Sharmin Dr Eram Sharmin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. She obtained her PhD degree in Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) - A Central Universit, New Delhi, India, in the year 2007. During and after her PhD, her focus of research has been the development of environment friendly coatings from commercial and vegetable oil based epoxies, polyols, polyurethanes, polyesteramides and others. She has published research and review articles on environment friendly coatings. She has more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals and books, and has presented more than 30 research papers in national and international conferences.
