E' stato Direttore del Dipartimento di Architettura e Urbanistca dal 1989 al 1994. e Presidente del Diploma di Laurea in Ambiente e Risorse (sede di Roma). E' membro di numerosi comitati scientifici nazionali e internazionali. E' stato Assessore all'Ambiente del Comune di Orvieto nel 1997. E' stato ed e Coordinatore del dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria per l'Ambiente e il territorio. E' autore di numerosi saggi e libri sul tema ambientale e piu recentemente sul rapporto tecnologia/societa. Enzo Scandurra is Full Professor of Town Planning since 1986 at the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome. He teaches "Sustainable development for the environment and the territory." He was Director of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning from 1989 to 1994. He was President of the Degree in Environment and Resources (headquarters in Rome). He is member of several national and international scientific committees. He served as Assessor of the Environment of the Municipality of Orvieto in 1997. He was and is coordinator of the PhD in Environmental and Territory Engineering. He is author of many essays and books about the environment and more recently on the technology/society relationship.
