Emma WhiteEMMA WHITE has a Masters degree from the University of Birmingham in First World War studies and is now studying for a PhD at the University of Chichester in the military employment of dogs during the conflict. She was previously project manager for est Sussex County Council (WSCC) Library Service’s ‘Great War: West Sussex’ project. The book resulting from the project won the Alan Ball Local History Award from the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
