About The Author

Born in Appalachia, Ralph Davis (Emerson Davis) has always been a storyteller, whether sharing memories of his own upbringing or tales inspired by his children. His life has een shaped by creativity, service, and community.

From writing, directing, and performing in community theater to leading Creative Expressions, a pioneering arts program for individuals with disabilities, Ralph has consistently created spaces where voices could be seen and heard. During his tenure, the troupe was invited to perform at a national conference before an audience of more than 5,000.

Ralph's service extends beyond the arts. As a City Manager, he helped guide the development of a shopping center and later as a project manager for a developing company, helped to create a housing community in an Appalachian art hub. As a Captain in the National Guard, he demonstrated steady leadership and deep dedication to community and country.

A songwriter and storyteller, Ralph recently completed his first novelette written as a companion to his song I Finally Found You, bringing his creative journey full circle.

Now available on most major music platforms.
