Eman Alblooshi
Eman AlBlooshi, a prominent Emirati author, educator, and mother of seven from Abu Dhabi, UAE, has impacted her nation's education landscape. She earned a degree in English literature from UAE University, and in 1982, Eman was on of the first Emirati employed as an English teacher. She excelled in her career as a wife and mother.
She taught English to young learners in state schools. She also excelled as an English teacher in ESL and as the Head of the English Language Training Center at Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADNOC), emphasizing linguistic proficiency and multicultural communication.
Eman was part of the inaugural team that founded Fatima College of Health Sciences, working closely with Professor Judy Wollin, the Head of the nursing program. The staff at Fatima College created an environment that nurtured academic excellence and personal growth in healthcare education. Her dedication to student welfare and success ensured the availability of resources for them to excel in their academic pursuits.
