Elise Hurst

Elise Hurst has been writing and illustrating for children for over ten years and has published fifty books to date. Her work ranges through many styles and media, most lately taking her back to the fine pen work that began her on the path of illutration.

With detailed compositions and an old-fashioned sensibility, she grants us a unique view into her imaginary worlds - peopled by odd characters, fantastic landscapes and captured moments that hint at a full and peculiar story.
