Edward WrightEdward Wright grew up in Arkansas and was a naval officer and a newspaperman before discovering the greater satisfaction of writing fiction. Although transplanted to California, he remained partial to barbecue and bluegrass music. He also had an affiity for film noir. Among his regrets was never having met Will Shakespeare, Robert E. Lee, or Hank Williams. Edward was awarded the coveted CWA Ellis Peters Memorial Dagger for his novel RED SKY LAMENT in October 2006. He died in 2015. Read More Read Less
