Edward MillettEdward (a.k.a. Ned) Millett has been an artist since he was sixteen. A native San Franciscan, he knew Bob Kaufman, meditated with Allan Ginsberg at Dharmadhatu in 1970, and has been a friend of Jack Hirschman (S.F.'s Poet Laureate 2006-07) since 1976 Ned was one of the first Bay Area artists to use the mandala extensively in his work (1962). He had a show with Susan Cervantes, S.F.'s preeminent muralist, at the Live Worms Gallery in January, 2008, and filled an entire room for a show at the Chinese Art Museum in Oakland, CA.
