Edgar A. Porter
Edgar A. Porter is Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Japan. Prior to joining APU he was Interim Dean of the School of Hawaiian, Asian and Pacific Studies at the University of Hawai’i. e is the author of Foreign Teachers in China: Old Problems for a New Generation (Greenwood 1990) and The People’s Doctor: George Hatem and China’s Revolution (University of Hawai’i Press 1997).
