Ed Mayo

ED MAYO is a leader in the co-operative business sector. He is Secretary General at Co-operatives UK, which develops and promotes member-owned enterprises.

Ed has helped to start a wide range of businesses and social ventures, including asone of the team that started the Fairtrade Mark. He ran the award-winning ethical thinktank, the New Economics Foundation for eleven years, and is the co-author of Co-operative Advantage, as well as previous books on marketing, banking and micro-finance. Ed has been awarded an honorary doctorate at London Metropolitan University for his work on ethical markets.
