Dwight (Mikey) LiburdDwight M. Liburd is from the Caribbean island of Nevis. In 1994, he received a degree in accounting from Herbert Lehman College, the City University of New York. In 2010, he had a severe stroke and remained in a coma for two days and a half. He was unable to walk, speak, read, or write. He had global aphasia. From 2010 to 2025, he received speech-language therapy. In the summer of 2025, he started to write about his journey with aphasia. Dwight currently lives in the Bronx, NY.
