Drew Tiene Drew Tiene is currently an Associate Professor at Kent State University. He received his Ph.D. in Instructional Technology at the University of Texas. A former teacher at the Village Community School, a private K-8 school in New York city, he hs authored numerous publications about the application of instructional technology in the field of educaiton. He has written extensively about the Channel One school television project and educational media efforts overseas, having contributed the Instructional Television entry in the International Encyclopedia of Education. He has served as a juror in the Japan Prize Internaitonal Educational Television Contest and served as consultant in the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, and the Peoples Republic of China.
