Dr. Cyril Bennett

Dr Cyril Bennett has been a flyfisherman for nearly 50 years during which time he has been fascinated by the fly life of rivers. He was a founder member of the Riverfly Partnership and pioneered the Anglers Monitoring Initiative to enable anglers o detect pollution incidents. His PhD with the University of London was on the ecology of mayflies and he is a Fellow of the Royal Entomological Society. He lives in Amesbury, in the heart of the southern chalkstreams, and he is married with two children and two grandchildren. Read More Read Less
