Dr Robert VanderplankDr Robert Vanderplank is the Director of the Oxford University Language Centre. He studied Modern Languages at the University of Kent and obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics at Edinburgh University. His most recent published work was included i the English as a Global Language debate (in Teaching and learning English as a global language.
