Don Harrison ShortDon Harrison Short grew up among the coastal foxes in Newfoundland. An accomplished artist and nature photographer, he is also the illustrator of two previous books for children: Suzy the Snoozy Fairy (FriesenPress, 2021) and Dolly's Rescue (FriesenPess, 2022). Don enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, and music. Whether trekking through city or nature, he is in constant search of the wonder that surrounds him, from panoramic landscapes to little discoveries. He resides in Mimico, along the western lakeshore sprawl of Toronto, Ontario.
