Don HackettI love to write. I have been writing short stories and poems as a pastime for most of my life. It was not until I retired from my government position working with people with special needs that I was able to focus on writing full time. I have no doub that working with special needs individuals served to make me a better person. This work helped foster in me a quest to search for a deeper understanding of just what it takes to be truly altruistic. Moreover, it instilled in me an obligation to become an advocate for those less fortunate. Hopefully this book will help demonstrate that the pursuit of spiritual truth is very important to an advancing mankind. I have degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Calgary.
