Don BourqueDon Bourque is an author in Moncton, New Brunswick. He spent thirty-seven years as an army reservist and has pursued studies in psychology, sociology and anthropology. These experiences helped inform the writing and development of the books in the Wilow's Wake trilogy.

Don got into writing after being encouraged by his Grade 12 English teacher, and has written poetry, prose, and a piece about his experiences as a veteran of the Afghanistan war in addition to the Willow's Wake series. Besides writing, he enjoys oil painting, pipe band drumming, and reading science fiction and fantasy.
