Dionne Lee
Dionne Lee (born in New York) is an artist whose work explores power, survival, and personal history in relation to the American landscape. She has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver; and Ne Orleans Museum of Art; among others. Her work is held in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art and Museum of Modern Art, New York, and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among others. Lee is assistant professor of fine art and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies at Ohio State University and a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellow.
