Dina M. Hardt

Dina M. Hardt has spent 25 years as an elementary school teacher, inspiring children to believe in themselves and write from the heart. Her debut picture book, Catch of the Day, was inspired by a photograph of her younger rother fishing, a simple moment that blossomed into a story about love, faith, and perseverance. Dedicated to nurturing imagination and resilience in her students, Dina combines her classroom experience and her lifelong love of storytelling to reach young readers in new ways. She also holds a minor in Theater and has performed in local and off-off Broadway productions, bringing energy and creativity to everything she does. Dina lives in Orange, Connecticut, with her husband and two children.
