Dimitri GonisDimitri Gonis was born in Melbourne, Australia. When he was twelve, his family repatriated to Greece where they lived in a small village on the tip of the southern Peloponnese. He credits this period of his life with inspiring his writing. 'Everythin about those years was intense. Everything felt so real.' After completing his secondary education in Greece, he returned to Melbourne where he lives with his wife and son. Since 2011, he has been a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Linguistics at La Trobe University Melbourne, Australia.
