Dillip Kumar DasDillip Kumar Das is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism, Sikkim Central University. He has been awarded PhD in the year 2008 in Tourism from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa on the topic “Economic, Socio Cultral and Environmental Impact of Tourism: A case Study on Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar”. He has Completed Masters in Tourism Management (MTM) from IGNOU, and also Two times Qualified UGC- NET (National Eligibility test for Lectureship) in December 2003and in 2004. He has Completed Master Degree in Economics, from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, and also Completed Diploma in Tourism Management, from Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The author’s areas of research interest are Eco-Tourism, Tourism Impact Studies and Travel Agency Management. He has altogether 15 years of Academic experience in tourism education.
