Dieter K Buse

Dieter K. Buse's military career was short and stellar: five years with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets (1954-60) becoming squadron leader, head of winning drill and rifle teams, receiving flight with T-33 trainer jet, course at Camp Borden, exchang visit to England, and drill instructor with RCAF (1960-61). He is professor emeritus at Laurentian University (History), author and editor of numerous publications in modern European and Canadian history including Best Reference Work 1998 for the encyclopedia, Modern Germany. He co-authored, Come on Over: Northeastern Ontario A-Z, and Untold: Northeastern Ontario's Military History, Volume 1 (2018). He enjoys dancing, golfing, gardening, fishing, curling, and sculpting.
