Derrick AtkinsDerrick Atkins is the Executive Director for the Twin Ports Arrowhead Chapter of NECA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Minnesota and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance frm Dunwoody College of Technology. He also holds a Class A Master Electrical license with the State of Minnesota. Atkins joined the IBEW Local 292 as an apprentice electrician in 1996 and completed his apprenticeship in 2000. He has worked as a foreman and general foreman on a variety of industrial projects. Additionally, he has worked as a full-time technical electrical apprenticeship instructor and training director, and worked on a number of curriculum development projects.
