Deepa S. MandlikDr. Deepa S. Mandlik is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology with more than 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She is currently serving in the Department of Pharmacology at the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Dr. Mandlik completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from the University of Pune, where she secured First Rank in the university. She subsequently obtained her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in Pharmacology from the University of Pune and earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. An accomplished academician and researcher, Dr. Mandlik has published more than 88 research papers in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her research has received widespread recognition, with an h-index of 20 and more than 1,850 citations. She has authored more than seven pharmaceutical books and contributed over twenty book chapters published by internationally renowned publishers.
Dr. Mandlik is a recognized postgraduate and Ph.D. research supervisor. She has successfully guided several postgraduate and doctoral research scholars and has received research grants from various funding agencies in support of her scientific work. Her research interests encompass preclinical evaluation of herbal medicines, inflammation and immunology, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease. Her work focuses on the development and pharmacological evaluation of novel therapeutic strategies and the translation of scientific discoveries into clinically relevant healthcare solutions.
