Debbie Palen

Debbie Palen is a professional illustrator in children’s publishing. Her work has been recognized by the Educational Press Association, Print magazine, How magazine, Highlights for Children, and the 2020 Northern Lights Award in middle grade fictin.

When not illustrating, she can be found walking in the woods, doing yoga, writing, reading kids’ books, dancing to many different kinds of music, or eating dark chocolate.

Debbie lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with one human and one very fuzzy animal that might be a cat.
