Dean & Anson VargoGalactic Passages is a family project. Dean Vargo, a career firefighter and active member of the Minnesota Air National Guard; penned the Galactic Passages series with his son Anson, a high school junior. Dean integrated military and firefighting experience/terminology along with Anson's creativity to build a unique universe. Weaving the ideas of two individuals was challenging; but also created new characters, deeper story plots, different perspectives. Daughters Natalie, (8th grade) and Abigail (6th grade) also played a vital role; Natalie as illustration editor and artist, Abigail for animal advice. The authors made sincere effort to be descriptive, while keep the story going for younger readers. Requisite Bandits, picking up where Planet 6333 ends, will be out soon.
