Growing up, I always loved to read and was fortunate enough to find Tolkien, The Hardy Boys, L. Ron Hubbard, and Frank Herbert which I voraciously consumed. As I got older, and became an English lit major, I moved on to Faulkner, Hemingway, Pat Coroy, Jules Verne, HG Wells, and in the modern era Michael Crichton.

After moving to Los Angeles out of college, tried my hand at screenwriting, and managed to work for a pretty solid producer to learn the ropes, but after four years, moved back to the valley of the sun and began my home building career.

Now that my homebuilding career is over, I'm rediscovering the joys of writing and immersing myself into my fictional worlds. I hope to do so for many more years to come.
